Meet Our ClientsI first met Angie in I believe October of 2005 through a mutual acquaintance Melissa Regouski (trainer). Within 10 minutes of arriving I knew Angie Sauer was "good people". I came to Buck On Ranch to look at a 6 month old mini B colt, the exact opposite of what I was looking for. So I was coming for more of a courtesy & curiosity thing as I had read an article on Angie Sauer in a local newspaper. About 10 minutes after I decided Angie was "good people" I was in love with this little colt. So I talked terms with Angie and the deal was struck. We have named him Catch and he is very smart and learns so quickly; we can't take our eyes off of him he is so nicely put together he is just a treat to watch. Keeping in mind that he is the exact opposite of what we wanted. From there we are given a wonderful tour of Angie’s farm and we get to meet all the horse "by name" I did not see one unpleasant one in the bunch; all with beautiful conformation and pretty little heads.
Well as luck would have it while out in one of her bigger pastures we ran across a 6 month old mini A filly that "was" exactly what we were looking for, however we had already decided on one and only one…..to make a long story short within two days we had done a package deal with Angie and now are the proud owners of both the colt and filly (both are "exactly" what we wanted).
All told I think we spent about 3+ hours at Buck On Ranch that day, however I have been back many times with many questions for Angie. Angie sold us the mini’s but her commitment did not stop with that, She has been very helpful with everything from food to show halters and all the how to’s that come with learning how to take care of and show them. Angie has even been over several times to our trainer’s barn (Melissa Regouski) to offer advice and help when wanted or needed. Angie does not just sell minis, with each one comes a truck load of advice and help if you need it. For us this has been a wonderful and refreshing experience. Oh by the way we are considering a third one of Angie’s minis.
Sincerely,
The Berg familyMy daughter and I had purchased a mare from Hoofbeat Acres 3 1/2 years ago. The purchase of our mare was just the beginning. We have chosen to return to her farm to breed to her stallions. Her horses display the extreme araby head, hooky necks, great topline and the "show me" look that is highly desireable. Hoofbeat Acres represents many years of carefully chosen bloodlines that are bred, promoted and shown in the United States and Internationally. We highly recommend her to all who are interested in breeding and purchasing the miniature horse. You won't find a more honest and reputable miniature horse beeder.
Shelly ButtonMy experience with Buck On Ranch, Angie Sauer, was one of the best horse buying experiences I've had. Not only did I end up with an absolutely beautiful horse, but also a new friend, Angie. In fact I was so happy with my purchase, I immediately went back and purchased a colt! Thank you to Angie for all her support and the endless help she offers me. And of course for my two beautiful "dream" horses!!
Hailstone Miniature Horses in England are proud to have bought our first miniature horses from Hoofbeat BUCK ON RANCH. We have enjoyed much success with them including taking the Top UK Title in our first year of showing...Champion Horse of the Year Show with Jezebelles Famous Song. In our second year Czars Drop Dead Red took UK National High Point part AMHA Champion.
Angie Sauer has given us lots of advice and help in getting our horses ready for the ring, we cannot thank her enough. She has been one of the most honest people we have ever dealt with in the miniature horse world. Even though we are so far away in England, Angie still takes a lot of interest in the horses and their progress and has a genuine love for the animals she breeds.
The process of buying a horse from ANGIE is very easy and again, we would definitely recommend Hoofbeat BUCK ON RANCH to anyone wishing to buy a top quality horse.

www.hailstoneminis.comWe here at Maple Mountain Miniatures have purchased a couple horses from Hoofbeat Buck On Ranch. Our first purchase, Velvet (Hidden Hollow Ebony Velvet), a beautiful little black mare was bred to BOB, the horse I consider to be the epitomy of what a Miniature should look like, and then came home to us. I was incredibly excited at the idea of possibly having a BOB son on our farm and Angie was so incredibly generous to have done the breeding for us and give us that opportunity. Unfortunately for us our plans fell through when Velvet lost the foal, a perfectly formed tiny colt, through no ones fault but mine, at 5 months. She got her halter caught on the fence in a cold rain storm and aborted 2 weeks later. She has since been declared healthy and clear to rebreed and is everything Angie promised she would be!
While we were at Buck On Ranch picking up Velvet I laid my eyes on the most gorgeous, big, bold colt I have ever seen. He was really too big for my breeding plans but he just struck me. Angie was pretty certain that he would finish A size but I had my doubts. Needless to say we left without him but I just couldn't get him out of my mind. After several months I emailed Angie to ask about the colt, Echos Golden Arrogance and he came home to live with us! She couldn't have made me happier and guess what? As a yearling he now measures well under 31" and will almost certainly finish A size just as Angie said he would. She knows her horses. I can't wait to get him in the show ring this season. He has been aptly named and should show like crazy!!! I am so looking forward to getting him in the driving ring - he has action to burn!!! And with his heavy Gold Melody Boy background he should cross beautifully with our mares. On the night that Ari left her place the shipper arrived quite late at night and Angie went above and beyond to get him safely on the truck slipping and sliding on the ice in the dark! The shipper that we used at her suggestion was marvelous and he arrived fat, happy and healthy exactly when they said he would.
Angie is an inspiration to other breeders. Not only are her horses top quality and among the best in the business, her down to earth honesty, knowledge of the horses, caring manner and zany sense of humour make her an absolute pleasure to deal with. Dealing over the internet from a distance can be a scary proposition at best and Angie takes the fear out of it. I would have no qualms about buying another horse from her. Thank you, Angie, for a couple great horses and great buying experiences!

Milo Miniatures, CanadaI had seen a picture of BOB in the Journal a few years back and thought he was one of the nicest stallions I had ever seen. Coming from an Arabian background, he exemplified to me the goal of the miniature horse.
I frequently drooled over the Buck On website and finally was able to purchase a nice mare, Spunk from Angie. When we went to pick her up, we came home with two mares! And we were hooked! We went back up a second time and picked up a yearling BOB daughter-I just thank my lucky stars.
Working with Angie was wonderful-she is a great person, honest, and informative. I have called her several times with questions and she always takes the time, no matter how busy or what time of day, to help me work things out. The farm is filled with incredible minis with incredible bloodlines. I would recommend Angie and Buck On to anyone looking for top quality miniatures. We will return!

Old Stage Miniatures, WisconsinMy 11 year old daughter, Alyssa, had really gotten into showing the Miniatures the past few years and realized she didn't have a B gelding to show. She had an A gelding and mares for both the A and B divisions but no B gelding. Since she is daddy's only little girl I started to look for a gelding that would do well in the show ring. That's when I found Command. He is a Czar son and out of Zena. He looked just like his older full sister which I really admired a year earlier. When Angie noted on her web site that this guy would be an over colt and was destined to be a life time of performance I knew he was the guy for us. And when we found out he was born on Alyssa's birthday the deal was sealed.
Angie was right and Command didn't disappoint us a bit. As a yearling he won 5 grands, Fourth at the 2005 Nationals, Reserve National All-Star Yearling Gelding, was Alyssa's showmanship horse for ages 8-12, which she was Champion National All-Star, Top Ten National All-Star in Youth B Gelding and he was also Ryan's Showmanship horse for ages 7 & Under which he was Reserve National All-Star. Both Alyssa and Ryan were in the Top Ten at the 2005 Nationals for their age division. Angie gave us some tips when we were down at nationals and it really helped us to show Command to his fullest potential.
It was very easy to work with Angie and she was always up front about what was possible and what to look for in a horse. We have learned a lot and I have gained a new friend and fellow mini lover. Angie even has our name on Zena's next foal. This one is going to be a filly and all Dad's. I can't wait.

Palace Family MiniaturesWe here at Ghostwind Farm Miniatures have purchased several horses from Buck On Ranch. We met Angie at a show in Colorado quite a few years ago. We later ran into her again at the AMHR Nationals and formed a friendship that has continued since then. About 6 years ago we purchased Buck Ons Xzotica who went on to win the weanling class at the Nationals and since then has continued to be in the top ten and was the AMHR 2005 National Reserve Champion 30-32 Mare. We also purchased Buck Ons Brazos, Buck Ons Simply Sinful, Buck Ons Maxs Back in Black to name a few from Angie, all of which have attained National Champion and National Top Ten honors. Starting this year we will be showing offspring of these horses and we are really looking forward to it.
Dealing with Angie is wonderful - she is always honest and available to answer questions. She makes buying a horse easy and always has been supportive and takes a genuine interest in the horses she sells. She is also a wonderful friend with a great sense of humor.
