 Yep,
its true.
We are all back in Minnesota. Just
in time for winter. I would
have stayed in Texas forever. My
deepest thank you to everyone who
participated in Texas Boot Camp.
Thanks for the memories, and your
donated help. The Ranch has come along
way baby, because of you.
TOGETHER we conquered the wild
hogs, terrified the fire
ants, scared big Blackie the Cottonmouth
snake, scars from locust thorns,
cleared brush, cut wood,
raked leaves, pounded posts,
became addicted to wire and a wire
cutter,, enjoyed the 100 degree
heat, laughed at the worse
Texas winter in 32 years,
broke water pipes, fixed water
leaks, spend months of
mowing, shoveling mud, slid
on my ass in the mudd,
green goop in flat tires , horses in the
back room, and the old Dodge
with no air or windows.
So,
why leave paradise
???
I
will only say this... if you know me at
all, I would rather git
the boot, than jeopardize the
safety of my girls.. The are my life,
and mean everything to me.. When in Rome
do as the Romans do.. When in America
do as Americans do.
The last time I looked Texas was
still in America!!
Remember girls..
We created our own success.
We d0 not need to follow the Pied
Piper....
So.. where to from
here?
Though
its not easy to tell you good bye..
I' ll spead my wings and I 'll learn how
to fly, I'll do what it takes
until I touch the sky..
take
a risk, take a chance, make a change and
BREAKAWAY
The reason we went to Texas was to
find a better life. We have loved every
minute we spent there. God willing, we
will go back. But.. we packed up
the Ranch, the mom's and babies and
headed back North to our favorite place
HOME SWEET HOME
 With
the "shittiest" weather on earth...
Just one
Leaving the
Ranch was the saddest day for me.
Not only did I have to say goodbye to
everything we have accomplished. I had to
leave part of the herd behind. They
did not understand why they were not
going with... I will check on their welfare often.
I can only hope for a better situation
for them soon!

20 years have come but, when I close my
eyes I can still see the same
picture of perfect little
horse that I have gone to the
earths end to create. When
everyone was fretting
about height, I was obsessed about
balance. Each
time someone would pass
by a long legged BOB daughter, I would dance for
joy, because that meant I
could keep her for my private stock.
I even bought back a few.
These are my girls, my foundation
future ............
We know
there
are going
to
have
to be some changes, but Buck On
Ranch will continue to create
elegant little horses in our own image,
just as we have we have in the past..
